As an independent artist, I spend much of my time drawing and painting fantasy characters. My sketchbook is filled with drawings of dragons, women with wings, creatures, monsters and wicked little charactes with pointy tails. :) I am not much into buildings, cars and machinery so you won’t see any of that in my art gallery. To sum up my artist statement, I don’t really have a profound/spiritual explination for my vision, I just draw what makes me happy. Sometimes an idea comes up and I go with it.

The more doorways you have to your blog the more likely people are to use one and visit. Each page can have links so, for example, if your blog has 50 pages, each with its own unique web address (also know as a url) and each page has three links, that means your blog will have 150 doorways through which people can enter your blog.

How to Make Attractive Links

We all know that first appearances are everything in all walks of life. It is the same with links and doorways. For example, how likely is it that you will go to a restaurant if the doorway to that restaurant is full of rubbish? How likely are you to go to a restaurant to eat your favourite food if you are unaware that it provides your favourite food? The answers are “very unlikely”. So, clean your doorways and make them appeal to the people you want to eat there. Likewise, make your links fresh and clean and relevant to the people you want to visit your blog.

Each link (or doorway) should have a good title and contain original, well written copy.

Where to Put Your Links

Here are the best places to put links (doorways) to your blogs. Our experience shows that these direct more traffic to our blogs than any other similar service. All are free to join. Click on each to learn more and to join free of charge.

SheToldMe

Triond

Xomba

Making Money from Blogs

To make money from your blog you have to sell a product or a service. Another alternative is to sell advertising on your blog. The most effective way of making money from advertising is to join the Google AdSense scheme. Google “AdSense” for more information on this.

" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"]=> array(1) { ["commentRss"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(100) "http://webupon.com/marketing/how-to-increase-traffic-to-your-blog-and-make-money-from-blogging/feed/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/"]=> array(1) { ["comments"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(1) "0" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://rssnamespace.org/feedburner/ext/1.0"]=> array(1) { ["origLink"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(95) "http://webupon.com/marketing/how-to-increase-traffic-to-your-blog-and-make-money-from-blogging/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } } } [3]=> array(6) { ["data"]=> string(68) " " ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" ["child"]=> array(6) { [""]=> array(7) { ["title"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(23) "How to Reduce Junk Mail" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["link"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(59) "http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/webupon/home/~3/yWHWxPL20yc/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["comments"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(59) "http://webupon.com/e-mail/how-to-reduce-junk-mail/#comments" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["pubDate"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(31) "Mon, 06 Sep 2010 04:15:10 +0000" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["category"]=> array(10) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(6) "E-mail" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [1]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(14) "advertisements" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [2]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(15) "Bank-of-America" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [3]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(9) "brochures" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [4]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(5) "Chase" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [5]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(9) "junk mail" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [6]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(7) "Mailbox" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [7]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Wachovia" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [8]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Websites" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [9]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(11) "Wells-Fargo" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["guid"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(50) "http://webupon.com/e-mail/how-to-reduce-junk-mail/" ["attribs"]=> array(1) { [""]=> array(1) { ["isPermaLink"]=> string(5) "false" } } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["description"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(318) "Nobody likes to find their mailbox full of junk mail. There’s an easy way to do it without doing the laborious, time-consuming effort of submitting articles to many, many article submission sites manually.

Oftentimes success with article writing is as simple as choosing the best article distribution service to blast your articles out to hungry publishers and content site owners globally. Let’s see what you should look for in choosing a good service.

Choose a well-known article distribution service.

Your articles are a critical piece of your marketing campaigns. It’s up to you to promote them in the best light so they receive the recognition they deserve. There are many article distribution services out there. You will want to check Alexa and Google page rank and choose one that is most talked about on the Web and maintains high rankings.

Ideally, you want to be comfortable with the content distribution service that you choose. Research thoroughly and don’t make hasty decisions.

Choose a service that has an up-to-date distribution list.

There’s nothing more frustrating than to sign up with a marketing service that claims to have lots and lots (and lots) of publishers on their distribution list and the links don’t work or there’s no such publisher.

Check out multiple places on the list to ensure the service you’re considering is keeping their list current.

Check to see if they offer review services.

Even the best of writers needs a fresh set of eyes to go over their articles to make sure that their articles will pass the rigorous requirements that publishers and content site owners have in place. When submitting manually to sites, it’s next to impossible to keep all the guidelines straight. A good service that serves as those extra pair of eyes will prove to be invaluable.

I, for one, appreciate the extra help from a reviewer that lets me know that I’m doing too much advertising in my article or I’m using a particular word(s) too many times.

Can you distribute your articles on your own schedule to coincide with your article marketing campaigns?

A good service is going to provide you with options that fit your needs — not their needs. The ideal service will let you set a schedule in advance, in some cases even up to a year.

Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Is the service you’re looking at affordable and offer a variety of different price plans?

With the economy the way it is, everyone tends to watch their expenses a lot more closely. Having different price plans that can be monthly, quarterly, annually, or even lifetime is important. Your potential candidate needs to offer variety.

While there may be free services out there, I guarantee your articles probably won’t receive the recognition they deserve.

What type of article syndication plans does your potential service have for the future?

While it’s important to get your article out to article directories, you will want to consider going with a business that will take it one step further and send out your article to sites owned and managed by internet marketers. Why? They take great care to bring new visitors to their sites in order to create profits. Going with an article marketing service can open new opportunities for you that maybe you haven’t even dreamt of yet.

There are many more features that one company might offer over another. It’s up to you to do the legwork and find the very best article marketing distribution service that will meet YOUR needs. Choose wisely so that your articles will receive the recognition they deserve. Now, get out there and start researching.

*****

Pam Lokker is a skillful writer and proficient virtual assistant. The brain is plastic and it has remarkable powers of changing and evolving its own structures. Each generation adapts to change, and the circuits in the brain have been altered by such inventions as the spear, writing, printing, and radio. Today, the brain is changing at the fastest rate for a long time, the way we use high technology computers, smart phones, and video games have started this techno-evolution.

2. Our brain could be described as an interconnected network, like the Internet. The brain is not high a hierarchical structure; instead, there are loops between different regions, which communicate with one another.

3. The case against technology is not difficult to make, and the case for technology is equally easy. There are negative consequences of overusing technology, and there are several benefits with exploring and using new technology. The opinions are divided about the influence on a young child’s brain. A balance is important and some young people are constantly engaging with technology. Addiction is always dangerous, and it changes lives in dramatic ways. Naturally, a young child who is not engaging in social networking will develop a different brain. A mixture of social skills and technology skills might provide the best combination. Our brain may change away from fundamental social skills. In some cases, it is better to phone someone than to email, and a person who realises this will be more successful.

4. The new devices may be useful but the mind-altering technology should not be used to distract ourselves. There is a risk that we become intellectual shallows where the use of search engines fragments our knowledge. We tend to read the same articles and rather than broadening our mind, we are narrowing it.

5. Technology does not only change how we think but also how we communicate and interact with other people. Our brains are becoming more adept at filtering information and making quick decisions. A consequence is that people will always scan for the next bit of new information. This can create stress and even damage neural networks. We might develop problems with concentration and reading long sections of prose may be more difficult.

6. Social networks sites are often blamed for making children lose vital social skills. Research indicates that young people used the sites to practice essential skills such as technological skills, being creative, and learning new ways to communicate. Young people may use share create works such as poetry and video clips. They may learn to edit and consider online design and layout. Social skills are practiced and learned and most young people interact with other young people.

7. The majority of scientific evidence suggests that the Internet and other technology are good for the brain. Improvements in visual perception to sustained attention and improvements in memory have been found in studies examining the effects of video games. Research suggests that experienced Internet users show double the activity in areas of the brain that control decision-making and reasoning. Certain neural circuits are strengthen if you repeat mental tasks over and over again.

8. Performing internet search increases the activity in dorsolateral prefrontal cortex as compared to reading a book-like text. This area of the brain is responsible for motor planning, organisation and it plays a role in regulation of intellectual function. There is no simple answer and this fact does not mean that the Internet will not lead to loss of mental talents. There is often trade-off, and when literacy spread around in a country, the ability to interpret nature changed.

" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"]=> array(1) { ["commentRss"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(58) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/technology-and-the-brain/feed/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/"]=> array(1) { ["comments"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(1) "1" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://rssnamespace.org/feedburner/ext/1.0"]=> array(1) { ["origLink"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(53) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/technology-and-the-brain/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } } } [8]=> array(6) { ["data"]=> string(71) " " ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" ["child"]=> array(6) { [""]=> array(7) { ["title"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(43) "Five Ways to Get More Readers for Your Blog" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["link"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(59) "http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/webupon/home/~3/nTuH0Hs2AN8/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["comments"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(81) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/five-ways-to-get-more-readers-for-your-blog/#comments" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["pubDate"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(31) "Tue, 31 Aug 2010 10:30:57 +0000" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["category"]=> array(11) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Web Talk" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [1]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(4) "Blog" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [2]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Blogging" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [3]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(10) "feedburner" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [4]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(3) "get" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [5]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(6) "google" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [6]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Internet" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [7]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(4) "more" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [8]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(7) "readers" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [9]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(3) "RSS" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [10]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(7) "traffic" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["guid"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(72) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/five-ways-to-get-more-readers-for-your-blog/" ["attribs"]=> array(1) { [""]=> array(1) { ["isPermaLink"]=> string(5) "false" } } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["description"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(130) "Looking for ways to get more readers to visit your blog? Having people visit your blog is the only way to start a community and engage with them too. Getting readers to your blog is also the only way that you can earn some money from your website. If you need to get more readers to visit your blog, read these 5 helpful tips to help you to do so!

1. Create Ads

There are a lot of opportunities on the web for you to get the word out about your site. One of these is by creating ads for your blog and having them put on a lot of other websites on the Internet. Many services such as Google AdWords provide the chance to have your ads published. All you have to do is design the ad, with your link and a bit of a description, then you pay for how many clicks the ad gets.

2. RSS Feed

An RSS feed is something that your readers can sign-up to. This allows them to ’subscribe’ to your blog and so they won’t miss any posts and will see a new post (when your site has been updated) from your site when they log-in to their chosen feed reader. I use Feedburner to provide my readers with an RSS feed and I also use their ’subscribe via E-Mail’ sign-up service so that the readers who visit my blog who don’t know how to use feed readers can still be notified of new posts by receiving my posts in their E-Mail inbox. I promote the RSS feed sign-up too, visit my blog to see how I promote it.

3. Guest Posts

Guest posting is just when you write a great post and submit it for posting to a website that isn’t your own. You have to write a really good post in order to get it published. With guest posts, your are usually allowed to submit a bio which can include a link to your own blog and can increase the amount of readers your site can get.

4. SEO

SEO stands for ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ and it is basically how search engines see your site. When people search for a specific thing, you want them to go to your site. By using many keywords that are related to your niche in the posts that you write, when people search for topics related to your site, they will see your site at the top of the search results.

5. Tell People

The simplest way to get more people to go and visit your website is by telling them about it. Every family member, every friend and every person you’ve ever known (within reason!) needs to be told about your website. Without being to ‘market-y’ about it, you should find a way to tell the people that you know about your website. You need to be known as the ‘[niche] person’ amongst the people you know. Showing them that you know so much about your niche might make them check out your website to learn more.

How do you get more people to visit your blog? Write for your reader and what better way to do that then to read what they have written? Plus no one likes a steady diet of the same food. Readers are the same way. A writer needs to “taste” different flavors by reading different styles of writing and different content.

Research. Always write credible information. Check your sources and compare them. Credit your sources. You would want to be credited for your work.

Give the pro and con. Most topics are not all one sided.

Edit, edit, edit. Write tight, write clear, concise, and grammatically correct.

Add pictures where applicable. If you borrow them, list your source.

While informative is good being interesting and informative too is even better.

Be organized. Subtitles and bullets are tremendously helpful in this area. It helps the reader find an area they may not be clear on and come back to reread. It is one of the great ways to make your puzzle interlock and become a clear picture.

We love to write so we blog.

This was the background that brought me to blogging. I wanted to gain a wider readership, so in trying to do that I found that blogging was free, it allowed for a free run on creativity, and also allows for communication with a lot of other wonderfully creative writers, poets, photographers and hobbyists. It also is a way to earn “extra” money. Extra, whoever heard of “extra” money?

To get read, one must read!

In the blogging world it is much the same as Triond. To get read, one must read. To get a comment, one must leave one, and soon we are off to a rewarding partnership. There is something in the blogging world called “memes”. According to context I found this word in, it seems to define theme. There are many available and this is a wonderful resource to gaining readership. It is possible that that information could be made available to the authorities.”

So a good Internet reputation is becoming increasingly important and since we, as a society, are increasingly unwilling to watch what we say or show online and with 74 percent of all US adults now online, it’s easy to see why companies like ReputationDefender and Halpern exist.
<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/webupon/home/~4/P9bbkNyaKuE" The more doorways you have to your blog the more likely people are to use one and visit.

There’s an easy way to do it without doing the laborious, time-consuming effort of submitting articles to many, many article submission sites manually.

" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"]=> array(1) { ["commentRss"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(58) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/technology-and-the-brain/feed/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/"]=> array(1) { ["comments"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(1) "1" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } ["http://rssnamespace.org/feedburner/ext/1.0"]=> array(1) { ["origLink"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(53) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/technology-and-the-brain/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } } } ["date"]=> array(2) { ["raw"]=> string(31) "Tue, 31 Aug 2010 10:48:39 +0000" ["parsed"]=> int(1283251719) } } } [8]=> object(SimplePie_Item)#204 (2) { ["feed"]=> *RECURSION* ["data"]=> array(7) { ["data"]=> string(71) " " ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" ["child"]=> array(6) { [""]=> array(7) { ["title"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(43) "Five Ways to Get More Readers for Your Blog" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["link"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(59) "http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/webupon/home/~3/nTuH0Hs2AN8/" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["comments"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(81) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/five-ways-to-get-more-readers-for-your-blog/#comments" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["pubDate"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(31) "Tue, 31 Aug 2010 10:30:57 +0000" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["category"]=> array(11) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Web Talk" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [1]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(4) "Blog" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [2]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Blogging" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [3]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(10) "feedburner" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [4]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(3) "get" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [5]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(6) "google" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [6]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(8) "Internet" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [7]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(4) "more" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [8]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(7) "readers" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [9]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(3) "RSS" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } [10]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(7) "traffic" ["attribs"]=> array(0) { } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["guid"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(72) "http://webupon.com/web-talk/five-ways-to-get-more-readers-for-your-blog/" ["attribs"]=> array(1) { [""]=> array(1) { ["isPermaLink"]=> string(5) "false" } } ["xml_base"]=> string(0) "" ["xml_base_explicit"]=> bool(false) ["xml_lang"]=> string(0) "" } } ["description"]=> array(1) { [0]=> array(5) { ["data"]=> string(130) "Looking for ways to get more readers to visit your blog? Having people visit your blog is the only way to start a community and engage with them too. Getting readers to your blog is also the only way that you can earn some money from your website. If you need to get more readers to visit your blog, read these 5 helpful tips to help you to do so!

I will hopefully be here as long as I live. At Triond I have learned so many wonderful things about writing and also had some of the things I had learned in college writing classes hammered home.

Know your audience.

Here are just a few along with some examples of the illustrations I entered in these challenges. Your content is entirely up to you, as long as your pictures comply.

Visit the blog. Leave it open in a separate tab.

Familiarize yourself with the rules.

Post your entry.

Copy the link to your post.

Come back to the sponsoring blog.

Add your link in Mr. Linky.

Leave a comment for your sponsor.

Check out some of the participants.

Leave them comments.

Soon they will return the favor and you will have more visitors than you know what to do with.

Some of the many “memes” available are: And you don’t have to play all of them to get results. Just find a few you like and stick with them.

Sunday: Shadow Shot Sunday:

.

Monday: Micro-fiction Challenge, Mellow Yellow Monday, Blue Monday, Mosaic Monday

Tuesday: Ruby Tuesday

Wednesday: Watery Wednesday, White Wednesday,

ABC Wednesday, Wordful Wednesday, Rednesday

Thursday: Guest Heart Thursday

Friday: Foodie Friday, I’m Loving it Friday, Friday Food, Follow Me Friday, Family Food Friday

Saturday: James Weekend Reflections, Macro Flowers Saturday

If while you are out blog hopping you want to stop by and visit, my main blog is Seeds4thoughts.
